The fish knife and fork have been specifically designed for fish filets or entire fishes. The blade of knife is not ground and thus the knife only designed for trenching or pushing fish. The blade has a symmetric shape being offset downward from the knife handle. The fork features a recess from the tines into the short bowl, but is used like a normal fork and is nearly identical to the hors d’oeuvre/dessert fork.
