Table knife
The table knife is designed for the main course or the main dish. With table knives, we distinguish between the high-class knives with inserted blade, where the blade made of special blade steel is inserted into the knife handle, and monobloc knives that are made “of one block”. Like the table fork and the table spoon, the table knife is a basic element of every plate setting. The table knife is furnished with a scalloped edge which permits to chop up every type of food nearly easily.
