IDEA Produktdesign

The IDEA PRODUCT DESIGN studio partnership was established in 1980. The creative concept of IDEA is “Generating value through design creativity.” IDEA’s aim is to develop products with this in mind that are efficient in use, that are adapted to requirements in an uncomplicated and fully flexible manner. The emphasis is on the benefit to the consumer in contrast to purely formal aesthetic considerations.

Many of the products designed by IDEA have been awarded international design prizes. Besides designs for the table and kitchenware sector for WMF, IDEA also produces and designs high quality clocks and watches, tools and other products.
