Gert Trauernicht and Martin Topel from the Dusseldorf-based design studio Squareone stand for a functional design language with reduced forms. They put their main focus on the processes within which a product functions. With the new product line “Living Management” designed by Squareone Design for WMF, a completely new product segment has been created: The both esthetic and functional organization of daily activities in the kitchen and living spaces.

Squareone is a studio for design, strategy and product engineering specialized in the complex development and design of innovative consumer and industrial goods. In addition to its high competence for functional design in the area of “dining culture”, the studio has outstanding experience in the area of technically and strategically oriented product engineering.
