Torsten Neeland, London

In Torsten Neeland’s view it is the unison of shape, manufacturing technique and use that characterises an ideal product. He is interested in designing products that are visually durable. His work stands for a clear, architectural language of shapes.

Interior design projects and product design are of equal importance to Torsten Neeland. He is particularly interested in experimenting with light. Everyday articles, tools, coincidences or even conversations with technicians serve him as sources of inspiration amongst other things.

Torsten Neeland has lived and worked in London since 1997 and ranks among the best known new minimalists in design. At the same time he never disregards the human, emotional quality of a product or an interior design solution.
