Fondues are for sharing – everything from the same pot, be it cheese, broth, oil or chocolate. All you need is a fondue set including a pot, stove, burner and fondue forks. The principle is always the same: the ingredients are first heated in the pot on the hob and then kept hot on the stove (réchaud). Pieces of bread or fruit speared onto long-stemmed forks are dipped into the mixture, emerging with a sweet or savoury coating. For meat and fish fondue, Silit offers fondue sets made of Cromargan® stainless steel with a splatter guard for the pot. All fondue pots have heat-resistant handles and thanks to their TransTherm® universal base, are suitable for use on all hobs, including induction. They can easily be cleaned in the dishwasher.
