Water is an elixir of life and has become a trendy drink. Top restaurants even have their own menu section for water. Whether you are having an espresso or a meal with several courses, water is the ideal accompaniment. WMF has taken up the matter and given it some thought. The Basic glass carafe is both an attractive and hygienic way of serving water at table.

For drinking, cooking, preparation – you just don't want any other water. Free of limescale, which accumulates in electric devices and pots and free of other substances which impair taste. For this WMF has had some ideas. With Akva the entire volume of the filter decanter is used. The attachment can be filled separately thanks to cleverly devised spout protection and can be placed on the decanter where the valve automatically opens and initiates the filter process. Being filled twice results in a total of 2.6 litres of water mineralised with magnesium as the carrier of the good taste of tea and coffee, vegetables, salad and herbs. And of course purely as a thirst-quencher. So you receive double the amount of delicious water compared with a filter usually used in the decanter. WMF has also applied for a patent for this innovation.
The Close Up lid keeps the contents tasting delicious and the tilting mechanism opens and closes automatically.
The integrated strainer holds back ingredients, such as ice cubes,
slices of fruit or herbs.
You can pour accurately and without drips.
The individual cooling rings are simply put in the freezer compartment to freeze them
The cooler is also suitable for wine, sparkling wine or other bottled
Serve refreshingly clear water from this attractively shaped carafe. The ingenious part is found in the Close Up lid – the lid with that little bit extra. It opens and closes automatically when you pour. An integrated strainer holds back ice or pieces of fruit. The matching cooling rings keep the contents fresh for longer.
