The first professional machine for at home…from WMF
As designers we reflected about the design of such a machine. The first drawings and realizations at the computer came already very close to the later appearance of the WMF 1000.
That means: we were able to quickly realize the connotations of the new coffee machine, like quality, claim of high quality, precision or also high-end character in a three-dimensional drawing.

Our role model: “Monolit in Yorkshire Moore”The technical parameters were defined exactly. We had a narrow design framework for creating an independent and recognizable coffee machine.
The result of the conception phase was a precise metallic monolith with a striking operating button, clear lines and edges!
The use of stainless steel – especially with a WMF coffee machine – was a matter of course.

DrawingWe, the designers, focused both on the beautiful design of the WMF1000 and on the ease of use.
For this reason we also equipped the WMF1000 with a singular All-in-One outlet with integrated milk jet. While other premium machines need several outlets for coffee and milk, the WMF1000 features only one outlet which performs everything.
