Brief description: Cutlery Taika: fish knife and fork

1x fish fork, 1x fish knife

The fish knife and fork have been specifically designed for fish filets or entire fishes. The blade of knife is not ground and thus the knife only designed for trenching or pushing fish. The blade has a symmetric shape being offset downward from the knife handle. The fork features a recess from the tines into the short bowl, but is used like a normal fork and is nearly identical to the hors d’oeuvre/dessert fork. To each WMF cutlery collection the matching fish knife and fork.

Taika appears extremely slim and gracious, as if it was drawn-out. Unusual proportions break our perceptions of cutlery. The handle and blade of the knife ultimately fuse into each other. The austere contours are compensated by the soft curves at the end of the handle adding elegance. This cutlery models passes boundaries and its extremes proportions establish the link to the Asian dining culture.
