With coffee, the espresso spoon is used for espresso, but is also excellently suitable for tea. This Italian coffee variety is usually served after meals and the espresso spoon is specially matched to this small cup size. It is smaller and more filigree than the teaspoon. Taika appears extremely slim and gracious, as if it was drawn-out. Unusual proportions break our perceptions of cutlery. The handle and blade of the knife ultimately fuse into each other. The austere contours are compensated by the soft curves at the end of the handle adding elegance. This cutlery models passes boundaries and its extremes proportions establish the link to the Asian dining culture.
