Salmon Burger with Wasabi

WMF Recipe for Lono Master Grill

Ingredients

4 People
  • For the patties:
  • 400 g Salmon fillet
  • 1 bunch Coriander
  • 4 Spring onions
  • 1 tsp. Sea salt
  • Chili flakes
  • For the wasabi sauce:
  • 2 Limes
  • 10 tsp. Cream cheese
  • 4 tsp. Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. Wasabi
  • For the burger:
  • 4 Burger buns
  • 2 handful Rocket
  • 4 leaves Lettuce
  • 2 tbsp. Rapeseed oil
  • 4 tsp. Sesam seeds

Preparation

Step 1
To make the patties, wash the salmon, pat dry and cut into thin strips. Then wash the coriander, pluck off the individual leaves and chop. Wash the spring onions and cut into rings.
For the patties:

Step 2
Mix the salmon with the coriander, salt, chilli flakes and onion rings in a bowl. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties with your hands.

Grate some of the lime zest with a grater, squeeze out the juice (4 teaspoons) and mix both with 6 teaspoons of cream cheese, soy sauce and wasabi. Spread the wasabi sauce on the underside of the burger buns.
For the wasabi sauce:

Step 4
Wash the lettuce, spin dry and tear.

Heat the rapeseed oil in a pan or on the WMF Lono Master Grill and fry the patties over a medium heat for two to three minutes on each side.

Step 6
Place the salad on the burger bun, then place the salmon patty on top and top with the rocket. Spread the top halves of the buns with the remaining cream cheese, sprinkle with sesame seeds and fold closed.
