Grilled farmhouse bread with beef steak


  • 4 slices of hearty farmhouse bread
  • 400 g beef steak
  • 2 bunches of arugula
  • 400 g yellow cherry tomatoes
  • 2 egg yolks
  • Rapeseed oil
  • Garlic clove
  • Salt
  • Pepper


After preheating the WMF Profi Plus Contact grill, select the “Steak” program and place the beef steak on the grill plate. Grill as desired until the beeping sound is emitted for the “medium” or “rare” level and the corresponding LED lights up white. Then leave to stand.For the aioli, mix the egg yolk with lemon juice and beat in a thin stream of rapeseed oil. Add the grated garlic and season with salt and pepper to taste.Briefly grill the bread slices on the “Manual” program of the contact grill and spread with aioli. Top with arugula then the thinly sliced beef steak and finely chopped tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
