Cooking perfect pasta isn't strictly reserved for Italians. Pasta is a staple food in most households – and it tastes especially good when cooked in the right pot!
Pasta cooked in the right pot – a gourmet delight
You can't go wrong with pasta, can you? Oh yes you can! If the pasta is too soft or too hard it takes away a lot of the pleasure of eating it. A WMF pasta pot is the perfect tool for perfect pasta. In our special pots, you get the best out of any type of pasta. Did you know that there are more than 100 different types of pasta? Among the favourites are tagliatelle, spaghetti and fusilli. Our pasta pots are specially designed to cook each type of pasta so that it can be fully enjoyed. The pots' attractive design, available in a range of sizes, is so aesthetically pleasing that they can be used to serve pasta as well as to cook it in. We recommend our serving pieces in addition to the pasta pots to help you get the pasta out of the pots easily and cleanly.
Become a pasta pro – with the help of WMF pasta pots and the right guidance
The oldest pasta recipe in the world was created in China 4000 years ago. Pasta has been known in Germany for around 400 years – the traditional Swabian spaetzle remain a German favourite today. Because of this, the WMF spaetzle press now forms part of our assortment. Pasta doesn't need to be homemade for it to taste good, but it's all about the right pasta pot and the right way of preparing it. You know that pasta is just right when it is "al dente", a little bit soft on the outside but firm to the bite on the inside. The ideal pasta pot is tall and has a large enough capacity to hold pasta and the water to boil it in. The basic rule is that the pot should only be filled two-thirds of the way to the top. Our pots made from rust-proof Cromargan® stainless steel have a stand ring so that the water does not boil over. The pasta is cooked in the allocated amount of time and then drained through a colander. And last of all it is time to serve and eat it – bon appetit!
WMF pots – for amateurs and professionals alike!
It isn't just pasta pots that give you the perfect results, but the other pots from the WMF assortment as well. Choose your favourite pots and pans from our cookware selection to enhance your frying and cooking experience.
