Geislingen/Steige – On September 1, 2021, Martin Zouhar (50) has taken over as new ‘Executive Vice President SEB Professional PCM and Hotel’ of WMF’s coffee machine and hotel business and is thus responsible for the WMF, Schaerer, Curtis and HEPP brands in the Professional Business. As a member of the WMF Executive Leadership Team and the Executive Committee of Groupe SEB (ComEx), Martin Zouhar will report directly to CEO Oliver Kastalio. He will succeed Johan Van Riet, who is leaving the company at his own request. With its brands, WMF is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of fully automatic coffee machines and a premium supplier in the hotel business.
Geislingen / Steige –At this year’s Best Brands Awards ceremony, the WMF brand finished in third place in the prestigious category “Best Brands Overall”, and for the sixth time in a row was classed among the top ten best product brands in the German brand ranking – directly behind Bosch and Lego. The ranking, which is measured against actual economic market success and brand perception by consumers, is based on a study by the German Consumer Research Association (GfK), whereby it is the consumers alone who decide and not a jury.

Geislingen/Steige –The WMF Group's Consumer Electric division will be in attendance at this year's IFA with a bigger and completely reworked stand concept. The appearance is also organised by theme: all current trend and product themes are prominently displayed and so create the perfect setting for the WMF kitchen appliances. Accordingly, the brand image is geared further towards the various themes instead of strictly ordering the products into series. Famous German TV chef and blogger Nicole Just, as well as champion chef Thomas Brunk and others, will be on hand to demonstrate the products to our international visitors in person.
