WMF Group continues positive trend in third quarter

In the third quarter of 2014, the WMF Group increased its revenue by 2% over the previous year’s figure to EUR 718.4 million. Adjusted for the sale of the Princess Group in May 2013, revenue grew by 4%. EBIT rose from EUR 32.1 million to EUR 50.1 million at 30 September 2014. This significant increase is particularly attributable to the EUR -13.3 million in charges incurred by Princess in the previous year. Adjusted for Princess, EBIT was 10% higher than in the previous year.

WMF strengthens business in China through exclusive partnership with DKSH

In the future, WMF will join forces with DKSH — the leading company for market expansion services with a focus on Asia — in order to expand its activities in China. Today the two companies have signed an exclusive cooperation agreement. DKSH will thus take over the sale and servicing of fully automatic coffee machines for WMF in its growth market of China.
