- As a German brand WMF is known for its versatile stylish range of products and reliability in quality and finish. For over 160 years WMF has been making cooking, dining and drinking a real experience whilst maintaining professional standards and progressing manufacturing technologies.
Today’s teacups no longer need to be made from porcelain – which is why WMF also makes them from heat-resistant borosilicate glass. The advantage of this is that the heat-resistant glass withstands high temperatures and doesn’t crack when hot drinks are poured into cold glasses or on ice cubes. A nice visual effect is created, too, as the colour of the tea is highlighted through the glass. The handle is also made from sturdy glass and ensures a secure grip without getting hot. Tea can be served in style on the matte Cromargan® saucers. Thanks to their modern, sleek design, the cups can be combined with any porcelain series and are available as part of the WMF TeaTime and SensiTea collections.
Afternoon tea becomes high tea with this collection. Use the tea scoop to measure out the perfect amount of tea – straight from the tea caddy into the French tea press – add boiling water and leave to brew. Accompany this with some teacups or glasses, as well as a milk jug and sugar bowl. The modern design of this easy-to-use collection comes from Jan Christian Delfs. Good to know: all items can easily be combined with the WMF CoffeeTime collection – meaning you no longer have to choose between coffee or tea. What’s more, everything can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
