Recipe for One Pot Pressure Cooker Perfect / Perfect Premium

Ingredients

4 People
  • For the braised meat:
  • 500 g Beef brisket, roughly diced
  • 30 g Sesame seeds
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 10 g Ginger
  • 30 ml Neutral vegetable oil
  • 250 ml Water
  • 100 ml Rice wine or sherry
  • 60 g Soy sauce
  • 2 Star anise
  • 1 sticks Cinnamon
  • 2 Dried chili peppers
  • 20 g Sugar
  • 2 Spring onion stalks
  • For the side dish:
  • 400 g Fresh Ramen noodles
  • 350 g Pak choi
  • 10 g Coriander

Preparation

Step 1
Heat the pot, roast the sesame seeds without oil until golden-brown and then remove. Peel and chop the garlic and ginger. Heat the oil in the pot and fry the meat for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for 1 minute, then pour in the water. Add the rice wine, soy sauce, the spices and the sugar. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and simmer for 20 minutes once you have reached cooking level 2. In the meantime, chop the spring onions into pieces roughly 2 cm long. Bring a pot of water to the boil, then cook the noodles and pak choi for roughly 2 minutes. When you have finished cooking, release the steam from the pressure cooker, open the lid and leave the spring onions to simmer in the sauce for roughly 1 minute. Finally, season with salt and extra soy sauce as required.
