Recipe for Plancha Grill BBQs
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the WMF Plancha to medium heat. Meanwhile, cut the baguette into slices about 1 cm thick. Wash the figs and cut them into thin slices. Coarsely chop the walnuts.

Once the Plancha is hot, spread some olive oil on it. Place the baguette slices on the Plancha and toast them on both sides for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown and slightly crispy. Remove the toasted slices from the Plancha and set aside.

Place the goat cheese slices on the still warm Plancha and warm them for about 30-60 seconds until the cheese begins to melt slightly but still maintains its shape. Carefully remove with a Plancha spatula.
Step 4
Briefly place the fig slices on the Plancha and sear for about 30 seconds on each side. The light caramelization enhances the sweet taste of the figs.
Spread the warmed goat cheese on the toasted baguette slices. Arrange the seared fig slices on top and sprinkle with the chopped walnuts. Finally, drizzle with honey.

Serve the finished canapés immediately, while the goat cheese is still warm and the baguette slices are crispy.
